Moonchi
✦What makes an AI creature different

From a creature of your own to an adventure of your own

Enjoy making imaginary characters? Meet Mythora, a text adventure from the creator of Moonchi, and discover a different way to play with your imagination.

You describe a creature, give them a name, and begin to discover what it is like to spend time with them. That is one way to play with your imagination.

On another evening, you might want to be the one stepping into an unfamiliar place. You want to meet the stranger at the gate, ask the awkward question, or take the road everyone warned you about. If you enjoy Moonchi and feel curious about that kind of play, there is another game we would like to introduce: Mythora.

Moonchi and Mythora come from the same creator. We are introducing our other game here, not reviewing someone else's product.

A companion to visit, a character to become

Moonchi starts with an imaginary creature of your own. You can talk with them, care for them, and enjoy the small discoveries that come with getting to know a character. If you are still deciding what to make, the creature examples are a place to begin.

Mythora is a text adventure. You choose a world, create a character, and decide what that character does next. You read the story and take part through your own words or suggested choices.

The difference is where you stand. In Moonchi, you spend time with a creature. In Mythora, you step into the story yourself.

You do not need a perfect opening line

For an imagined first scene, picture a market about to close. A stranger is trying to sell a locked box. Your character has enough money to buy it, but not enough to be careless.

You could ask where the box came from. You could offer a trade. You could walk away and follow the stranger instead. This is an example of the kind of decision a text adventure invites, not a promised scene from the game.

You do not have to write a chapter. Start with one action you are curious about. Mythora's first-adventure guide shows how to choose a world and begin.

Choose the kind of evening you want

If you want to spend a little time with a familiar creature, Moonchi fits that mood. If you want to read, make decisions, and wonder where a story is going, you may enjoy an adventure in Mythora.

Neither has to replace the other. A virtual pet and a story game ask different things of your attention. It is fine to like the small visits in one and the unfolding scenes in the other.

You can browse Mythora's story genres to see whether a setting catches your interest before choosing an adventure.

Your creature stays in their own game

These are separate games. Your Moonchi does not transfer into a Mythora world, and a Mythora character does not become your pet. The connection is the pleasure of imagining a character you want to spend time with.

If you would rather begin with a little creature today, meet Moonchi. If you are ready to become the character making the next move, you now know where another kind of story begins.
